| Carolyn Schlam Carolyn Schlam is a painter and glass artist born and raised in New York City. She studied painting with Norman Raeben, youngest son of the Yiddish writer, Sholem Alecheim, in Carnegie Hall. Bob Dylan was also a student at the time. She studied glass making at Urban Glass in Brooklyn. Carolyn has lived her life immersed in the making of art. At present she resides and has her studio in Miami, Florida, where she continues in the pursuit of her passion-- painting in oil, drawing from life, and crafting confections of glass, clay and other media. She welcomes gallery inquiries and accepts commissions in all media.
